We do not run accounts, newsletters or server-side forms. The contact tool on our Transmit page builds your message entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to us unless you choose to email it. If you email us, we receive your email address, name and whatever you include in your message.

Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of request) for security and performance. These logs are retained for no longer than 30 days.

Why we process it and on what basis

We process emails to reply to you, based on our legitimate interest in responding to readers. Server logs are processed under our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
